John 16:33
I have told you these things so that in ME you may have PEACE. In this world, you will have trouble but take heart I have overcome the world.
Jesus Christ is the prince of peace and hence when speaking to the disciples when He was about to face the cross, he reminded them that peace can only be found in Jesus ( in me you may have peace).
We can be robbed of our peace through many issues and challenges. Families can take away our peace, jobs can take away our peace, the ministry can take away our peace, friends can take away our peace, enemies violently take away our peace.
Jesus knew this would happen and He reminded His beloved disciples that only in Him, can we remain grounded, unshakable and deeply at peace. He told His disciples trouble/tribulations is coming but this is the confidence we have, He has already conquered/ overcome the world for us.
Therefore whoever is reading this be of good cheer peace is found in Jesus Christ, no one has a right to rob you of it, put your trust in Him and even when storms are ranging you will be calm. Be of good cheer because before trouble comes we already have victory, Jesus Christ overcome the world before He ascended back to the Father, you are already a conqueror.
When the battle is already won there is no way you can be a loser.
Move with confidence Jesus Christ overcome for you.
