Daughters of Impact

Daughters of Impact (DOI) is a Ladies ministry at Deliverance Church International Kasarani, and was launched on 28th February 2015 by Pastor Alice Kimani, after the ladies' ministry leadership realized that there was a need to reach out and meet the needs that arose from the larger ladies congregation and a desire to impact at the same time.

We were looking for ways of having our ladies ministry becoming more inclusive (i.e. we wanted to include our youth ladies and teenagers) after we realized that the youths and the teenagers felt out of place during our ladies group meetings, causing most of them not to attend. With the launch of Daughters Of Impact (DOI) platform, the younger ladies started identifying with the activities and events that we rolled out and as time went by they started joining and being more engaged bringing with them fresh ideas, and a much-needed diversity that has led to efficient and effective planning and execution of our meetings.

Apart from inclusivity, we came up with a monthly forum where our ladies would be empowered in different ways while still building relationships with each other as a family.

Since its inception in 2015, DOI has so far held about 30 meetings, handling different topics like health, beauty, finances, spiritual growth among many others. We believe if our women are empowered, we have empowered an entire society, that's why we are keen to ensure that our topics are meant to develop a well rounded and empowered woman.

Molding a generation of fearless and God fearing women to affect the market place, hence our tag line, we are World Changers, not World Chasers.
